Welcome to PlantoLane. By accessing or purchasing from plantolane.com, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Products and pricing

  • We make every effort to display product colors, dimensions, and details accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your screen will reflect them exactly.
  • All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, limit quantities, or discontinue products at any time. If a pricing error affects an order you've placed, we will contact you before proceeding.
  • Product availability is not guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll notify you and issue a full refund for that item.

4. Orders and payment

  • By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete purchase and account information.
  • Payment is processed at the time of order through our secure payment providers.

5. Shipping and returns

Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms.

6. Product use and safety

Many of our products — including garden tools, greenhouses, fire features, and outdoor furniture — require proper assembly, installation, and use. You are responsible for following all manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. PlantoLane is not liable for injury or damage resulting from improper assembly, installation, or use.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of PlantoLane or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

8. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

9. Prohibited uses

You may not use this site to violate any law, infringe on the rights of others, upload viruses or malicious code, collect personal information of others, or interfere with the site's security or operation.

10. Third-party links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Our site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlantoLane shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlantoLane and its affiliates from any claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site.

14. Governing law

PlantoLane is operated from Japan. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the laws of your place of residence.
