About This

• This fast-growing evergreen vine has clingy and adhesive tendencies. Its small, heart-shaped leaves are green edged with creamy white. The vine creates dense coverage on any surface reaching 25-30 feet. Ideally used for walls, fences, poles, and trellises.
• This fast-growing evergreen vine needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. The first year of growth requires watering weekly. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Pruning is not required.
• An easy-care solution for covering unsightly fences. Vigorous growing, dense branches cling firmly to any surface. A handsome choice for climbing walls, pillars, arbors and fences. Small leathery green and variegated leaves mature into large, thick leaves; prune the mature foliage to promote new juvenile growth. Evergreen.
• For proper indoor variegated creeping fig care, the soil should be kept moist but not overly wet. It is best to check the top of the soil before watering. If the top of the soil is dry, it needs to be watered. You will want to fertilize your variegated creeping fig in the spring and summer about once a month. Do not fertilize it in the fall and winter. In the winter, you may need to provide extra humidity to your creeping fig plant.
• The very best self-clinging vine for covering sheltered fences and walls. Plant in small vine pocket openings in paving to grow up an arbor. Plant in shaded entryways, under covered patio and on protected fences and freestanding walls. This vine is also valued for training over wire topiary forms. Needs to be cut back occasionally to control spread and to encourage growth of attractive juvenile foliage.
