About This

• 100% Natural Soil Amendment for Plants - Plantonix Coco Chips are a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional fiber mulch, making coco fiber a perfect soil amendment for indoor plants, outdoor plants, garden containers, hydroponics, and as organic mulch for vegetable gardens. We also recommend coconut coir chips as bricks for landscaping, reptile bedding, terrarium bedding, and ground covering.
• Excellent Water Retention - Coconut mulch absorbs up to 10x its weight in water, helping retain moisture and keep plants hydrated. Using coconut chips for plants helps reduce watering frequency, so you can conserve water and contribute to more sustainable gardening practices. Plus, coco coir chips add a nice decorative touch to potted plants and garden pots!
• Increases Nutrient Availability - Coconut husk chips have a high cation exchange capacity (CEC) to retain essential nutrients, plus a neutral pH that helps prevent nutrient lock-up. Using a coco husk for plants ensures more nutrients remain available in the root zone, leading to better nutrient uptake in plants.
• Improves Soil Structure & Aeration - Coco mulch improves soil aeration and drainage by creating air pockets. This prevents soil compaction while allowing oxygen to reach plant roots more efficiently. As coco husk chips break down, they add organic matter to potting soil, improving overall soil fertility in potting mixes, seed starter soil, and garden soil.
• Renewable Growing Medium & Mulch Medium - Bulk coco chips are made from coconut husks that would otherwise be thrown away, making coconut bricks for plants 100% organic and renewable. Coconut soil blocks last a long time in gardening soil, saving you from buying more expensive garden mulch for landscaping.
